All electric scooters use lithium-ion batteries which are high performance, lightweight, and long-lasting. Most batteries have a 1000 life cycle. A life cycle means charging the battery from 100% - 0% - 100%.
For the longest lifespan, it is best to keep your electric scooter at a 80 - 90% charge. Do not fully deplete the charge from the battery and prevent overcharging by unplugging the charger as soon as possible
(indicated by the charger).
The temperature will also affect battery life. Cold weather will cause battery performance to suffer, so don't be surprised when your electric scooter runs out of juice sooner than usual. Keep the battery charged to two bars when leaving your scooter unused and stored away during colder months.
