How do I maintain tire pressure?

Modified on Fri, 21 Jan, 2022 at 5:31 PM

Always ensure there is sufficient tire pressure before riding to avoid a flat tire. A flat tube makes the electric scooter susceptible to punctures which means a higher chance of damaging your tires. We recommend using a bike pump with a gauge, displaying the psi levels.

If you're unsure when to stop pumping your tires, the psi level should be labelled on the tires. It is recommended to maintain 45-55 psi for both front and rear tires.

Rear Mudguard Tip:

For units that have rear lights, DO NOT step on the rear mudguard while riding. The rubbing of the tires against the rear light cable (under the mudguard) will cause the rear lights to stop working.

Remember there are brakes on the handle bar. You do not need to step on the back wheel to brake.
