Tire/Wheel Rub on the EVOLV Terra?

Are you experiencing some rubbing noise on your wheel? There are a couple of possibilities.

Fender Rub: Inspect the fenders/mudguards to ensure that there is nothing caught in between the fenders and the tire. If the fender is in contact with the tire, your fender might be bent or damaged. Remove the fender from the scooter and see if the rubbing persists.

Drum brakes too tight: If you hear a rubbing noise when the wheel is spun by hand, your drum brakes might be too tight or still breaking in. This sometimes happens with new vehicles out of the box. Here’s a video on how to adjust your drum brakes.

Handlebars are not fully extended: If your handlebar height is dropped to a lower height setting, this might encroach on your brake cables to activate the drum brakes. If you’re riding on a lower height setting, it might help to loosen your drum brakes by a little to reduce the tightness.

Please ensure that there is adequate braking power when making brake adjustments.
