LOYALTY UPGRADE PROGRAM
CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
Urban Machina will resell your certified pre-owned vehicle through our online store and showroom. Certified pre-owned vehicles sold are only available for store-pick up at our 1868 Glen Drive, Vancouver BC location.
Consignment Rate
The consignment rate for selling your certified pre-owned vehicle is 80% of the sale price in store credit. Store credit does not expire and can be used to purchase any vehicle, parts and accessories that we sell.
Consignment Conditions
Urban Machina will only consign pre-owned vehicles certified by our technicians, that meet the following criteria:
- Program is currently only available to existing customers of Urban Machina with vehicles purchased directly from Urban Machina.
- Vehicle must be less than 2 years old from the original date of purchase from Urban Machina.
- Vehicle must be physically located in our Vancouver, BC showroom for viewings and test rides.
- Urban Machina reserves the right to offer this program based on eligibility and condition of vehicle for resale.
Process
1. Certification Process
Our in-house technician will conduct an inspection of the vehicle to determine the condition of the vehicle. The certification process will take 1 – 3 business days. Please note that upon inspection, Urban Machina has the discretion to return the vehicle to you, if the vehicle is not in a resalable condition, including but not limited to water damage, extreme wear and tear, evidence of previous accidents, etc.
2. Price Evaluation
Once the vehicle is inspected and certified, Urban Machina will provide a price evaluation based on the condition of the vehicle. The price evaluation will be agreed upon by you and Urban Machina prior to confirming the consignment arrangement.
3. Photography & Product Description for Online Listing
Urban Machina will be in charge of taking photos for listing of the vehicle online.
4. In-showroom merchandising
Your vehicle will be merchandised in our Glen Drive showroom, and will be available for test rides.
Consignment Duration
All certified pre-owned vehicles will be available online and in-showroom for 45 days. If your vehicle is not sold in 45 days, we will contact you to pick up the vehicle. Unclaimed vehicles will become the property of Urban Machina six months after we notify you to pick up your vehicle.
Cancellation Clause
If you would like to terminate this agreement before 45 days there will be a $75 cancellation fee.
Liability
Urban Machina endeavours to take every reasonable effort to safeguard merchandise kept on premises. However consigned vehicles are kept in Urban Machina’s possession at the Consignor's own risk. Urban Machina maintains no liability for loss, damage or destruction on any consigned vehicles by fire, theft, accident or any other cause.
Warranty
For vehicles out of warranty (but under 2 years old) - Urban Machina will issue a 30-day warranty to the new owner.For vehicles under warranty (the balance of the warranty will transfer to the new owner)
